  2. I agree with Bart. There has always been evil in the world, it's just a lot more visible now and we are more aware of what's going on.
  3. There, I asked her to hang out sometime. She said maybe. She was kind of busy, and coulnd't really talk, so I said, I'd message her on Facebook sometime. Kind of funny, she actually seemed to kind of warm up, once I apologized for the awkwardness of the situation.

    Not much, but its a start.
  4. The world is now objectively better, no question about that. A war between France and Germany is now unthinkable, combat deaths are at their lowest in 100 years, the number of people living in extreme poverty has been reduced by a half, people are living longer, healthier, etc. You just don't see this on the news because it doesn't generate a lot of shares in Facebook.
    Yes, the world can be better (and it will), but the general trend is indisputable.

  10. Lost my grandma today, she called me during the day and I didn't pick up the damn phone... and never will anymore.... Brightest person she was and a big heart... Sometimes you can't make it on your own, listen it for her.
