my condolences. I feel with you. It is impossible to describe with words how such a loss of such a dear person must hurt. Consider yourself hugged tightly, even if only virtually here 
It sounds like she was a person you will always carry with you. My late grandfather was also very active at an old age (he played tennis until he was almost 90 years old)... and he was awesome. Seems like your grandmother was too.
