1. European pop music competition. Mostly pretty bad music. Australia (yeah, I said European ) may win this year.
  2. Also like the most popular TV show in Sweden. This year's final is in Sweden, since we won last year. We also won like three years ago.
  3. Ever seen Epic Sax Guy? That's from Eurovision. To be fair some of it is pretty funny.

Lordi was the only decent act recently.

    EDIT: Lordi was in 2006
  4. It's good fun with a group, and Twitter is always on point for Eurovision. Can't imagine watching it in another country though, how do you get through it without Graham Norton?

Our commentator succeeds with some pretty dry humor every once in a while... but I've heard great things about watching it in the UK.
  6. I hope Holland, Australia, or Georgia win.
  7. Just tuned into EuroVision (not by choice) and what is going on? Have they changed the voting?

Edit: Nevermind, Graham has confirmed it.
  8. They only announce the 12 points now? I guess that speeds things up. It used to be painfully awkward.

Our 8 points go to... etc.
  9. Yeah, it was fun for the first ten nations or so, but then it got tedious. I tuned in right at the end (thinking the news was on) and was rather confused
  10. WTF Ukraine????
  11. I just saw it on the BBC News website. 534 points??? I guess that's the new voting system.

    Heavily political song, 1944.
