Oh man sorry, didn't saw your post. There are no speed limits anymore, due to some changes on the track. Nope, the VLN is getting executed by an other promoter, but there are most of the VLN Teams at the 24h.
  2. Plot twist: It was an official camera.

Yeah, if a tripod was used then that's a little too far, besides, how did she get the tripod into the venue?

You'd be surprised how much gear can someone bring into a venue. As long as you don't sneak in a soda can or water bottle so you have to spend a freaking fortune on their drink stalls, they sometimes don't give a damn if you carry a tripod, a videocam or ten.
  4. A tripod is overkill. I can understand a small audio recorder, especially in a small venue, but a tripod?
  5. Do you guys wear earplugs to gigs? I find them annoying because me singing drowns out the music. Then again, I want to listen to music for as long as I possibly can.

    We use these:

  7. If I was a big artist (dream out loud) I wouldn't care if someone was filming the concert, because they paid money to see me, and it's their choice on how they experience the concert.
  8. I don't wear earplugs myself, but I don't go to many concerts. I've never really had any issues apart from Wembley '09 when the sound was reverberating around the upper tier. I thought the ieTour was excellent, I had no ringing in my ears afterwards.
  9. Never wore earplugs to gigs and I go to quite a bit. I'm heading for tinnitus regardless.
