  4. Given that most of this site is European, how do people feel about this?

    As an American, I've seen the EU as a system that gets some things right and others fairly wrong. I also thought it was a bad sign when Putin pretty much laughed in the face of EU sanctions as a result of the Ukraine crisis.

    As you can deduct from the posts above, a majority of us probably think it's a pretty dark day, while others are buying some champagne to celebrate it.

    The british pound will soon be as worth as an Indonesian rupiah so yeah, definitely a good time.

    It's not great news, but maybe it's a wake up call for the EU, but I sincerely doubt they'll change their ways.

    But this is once again, Trump, Dutch referenda, protests, that the politicians and mostly the "ivory tower" ones are done.
