1. Fair point.
  2. English nationalism has won the leave campaign. I feel at a disadvantage as a result. I imagine the Scots feel the same. That kinda sucks.
  3. It's so unfair for Scots, they voted Remain a few months back just for the sake of staying in the UE, and now their mother kingdom leaves it. It's disgraceful.

Let's hope those scenario's you're pointing out aren't going to happen, altough I really dislike Clinton I hope she wins in the US.

Trump or Clinton... Either way we're screwed here, too. But honestly, Clinton scares me the most. I'm hoping if anything here if this election cycle stirs up anything, it makes people realize that there is actually a viable 3rd party, and the only we'll have change and break the 2-party deadlocks and pissing matches is to bring a 3rd party aboard. Trump and Sanders (good or bad) at least managed to wake up a sleepwalking nation... GARY JOHNSON 2016.

It's always a left/right issue in these matters. People need to wake up and break out of the old traditions. There is always middle ground. People have the power!

  6. Gary Johnson is the only person running who I think is as obtuse as Hillary and unpredictable as Trump.

I'm saying that racism and xenophobia have played a big role in the campaign and both sides used it to their own advantage, which is not good.
I'm not saying any of the sides represented these values, only that the campaign and the election has been a left/right, fear/confidence, etc. issue.
Okay, in that case I agree with you Every party uses fear to their advantage and some people aren't able to see through that, which really is a shame.

A couple of months ago there was a rumour about the old major of NYC running, Bloomberg (if I'm right), but that rumour seems to have vanished.
  9. I can't believe that in the year 2016 all over the world the populist speech of state protectionism, nationalism, xenophobia and isolationism is winning.
Yes, we live in times of crisis, but turning your back to the problems of the world is not going to solve anything.
So congrats, you wanted to go back to 1930's politics, because it was such "exciting times".

Yeah, that's out the window. I really wish they would indict Hillary before it's too late and get Biden in the race. I'd still be voting for Gary Johnson, but at least I'd have the relief of knowing that she will be out of the picture and hopefully on the way to the house she truly belongs in...
  11. Not sure there is anyone more obtuse than Clinton. But he is the far lesser of the evils and he brings a 3rd party viability that is so needed in this country. And the Libertarian party platform is one that, if people actually took the time to look into, could actually unite this country. Socially liberal and fiscally conservative. (in a nutshell - live your life your way and let others live theirs)
