  2. I can't believe that in the year 2016 all over the world the populist speech of state protectionism, nationalism, xenophobia and isolationism is winning.
    Yes, we live in times of crisis, but turning your back to the problems of the world is not going to solve anything.
    So congrats, you wanted to go back to 1930's politics, because it was such "exciting times".

    Yeah, that's out the window. I really wish they would indict Hillary before it's too late and get Biden in the race. I'd still be voting for Gary Johnson, but at least I'd have the relief of knowing that she will be out of the picture and hopefully on the way to the house she truly belongs in...
  4. Not sure there is anyone more obtuse than Clinton. But he is the far lesser of the evils and he brings a 3rd party viability that is so needed in this country. And the Libertarian party platform is one that, if people actually took the time to look into, could actually unite this country. Socially liberal and fiscally conservative. (in a nutshell - live your life your way and let others live theirs)

  6. It far outweighs its problems. The benefits of economical, commercial and security cooperation are there in plain sight.
    How is that worse to the opposite: a politic of fear, populism, a country isolated and blaming all the problems on foreigners.
    You think "internationalism" is going to solve all problems? No, but it's a start, and it's the only way in a globalized world.

  8. I'm still reeling from us leaving the EU. Wales is the poorest nation in the UK and we get a lot of funding from the EU and yet we voted out. Just mad. Only 5 out of the 22 counties in Wales voted for remain...

    Expect referendums in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland about leaving the UK.

    What's more bizarre is that the problems and financial crisis Europe faces have other culprits: ruthless and corrupt banks, terrorism, fear-mongering politicians at both sides of the Atlantic. But hey, let's leave the EU because those damn immigrants.
