How is that worse to the opposite: a politic of fear, populism, a country isolated and blaming all the problems on foreigners.
You think "internationalism" is going to solve all problems? No, but it's a start, and it's the only way in a globalized world.

I'm not for a globalized world. Violently against it.

The concept of 'Global Citizen' can kiss my ass. Handing over rights to a super-structure like the EU is a nightmare to me. Individual rights are better protected in an independent nation-state.
  2. As an American, I will be voting for Hillary come election time. Trump as President would make our country an immense joke and while I actually like Bernie Sanders as a person, I hate the fact people are treating Bernie's campaign like the second coming of Jesus. Plus, Bernie supporters have time and time again shown themselves to be incredibly uninformed and terribly immature. Many Bernie supporters have said that Trump and Hillary are essentially the same, a statement that makes me want to projectile vomit. The "Bernie or bust" sentiment is probably even worse. I would say it's the equivalent of grown adults having the temper tantrum of a child, but that would be insulting to children. It shows an unwillingness to work with others to help resolve problems, which actually makes sense for Bernie's camp considering the fact Bernie has been a politician for most of his life (yet somehow he's a political outsider), but has never actually worked with his fellow politicians to get anything done.

Long story short, Bernie Sanders is probably a decent human being and I would love to have a drink with him, but putting him in charge of America would be a massive mistake.

Be informed. There is a 3rd option. Dont settle for worse if two evils. Trump is scary, no doubt. But Hillary... oof. Lord help us all. She's got you right where she wants you.
  4. Always going to be the case when millions of people voted to stay and are angry at the result.
  5. Maybe so, but for an online petition, 2.5M is really something else. More so when you see the rate at which it's climbing. I think every critic of it is still signing with that hopeless optimism.

Clarifying my position if it's not clear: This petition would carry zero weight if the whole country signed it.
  6. Sounds like a country waking up with a terrible hangover and saying "what have I done?"

Oh you mean that crazy libertarian guy? His political viewpoints are all over the place. In fact, there is one interview where he vows to roll back all of Obama's climate policies because he doesn't believe in climate change, but when he gets called out on it he backtracks and says climate change is real. He doesn't have a solid stance to run on. It's as if they picked a random guy from the crowd and formed his political platform based on highly rated Youtube comments. I would much rather have Trump than that guy.

Trump would make America look like a joke, but from a practical standpoint he won't be able to get anything done during his 4 years (same as Bernie Sanders). Clinton is a person I can stand behind. The way she handled herself against the Benghazi Witch Hunt was amazing. Plus, Hillary Clinton has an ace in the fact she's married to Bill Clinton, one of the best Presidents of modern history. If voting for Hillary puts Bill Clinton back in the White House, I'm all for it.

Newsflash. America already looks like a joke. And if backtracking is crazy, then Hillary must be batshit from all the flip flopping shes done. Thats how politicians make lengthy careers for themselves
So are choices this time are crazy or criminal. Not good in either. I just beliwve that the 2 party system is broken and it will never bring about any significant change. I do believe in the libertarian platform (albeit just that, a platform) So, the way I see it, I can either vote for either of two horribly arrogant, highly narcissistic candidates, one who believes to be above the law and the other who believes to be above everyone, or I can try (in vain) to help further establish a much needed 3rd party on the political map. So, I'll choose the option that I'll be able to sleep with, and by all mesns, you should do the same. Me, I'm middle age I've seen U2 on their 1st tour, seem the wall come down, etc, ad nauseum... at this point for me, I'm just gonna get my kicks before the whole shithouse comes down... it's your future we're talking about!

    Love and peace or else!
