But if you're not turning up and are running the risk of failure, then you're an idiot. I've done that once or twice as well, luckily it didn't have too much impact.
    If you are getting good grades you can skip all the classes you want.
    What I don't understand is that I have students below 35% (they need 70% to pass), no chance in hell of passing, not attending class, and still they show up for the final. They will fail anyway, but I have to grade one more exam. That sucks. Just save us all the trouble and drop.

  7. Whilst browsing musical news I stumble upon many forums, and it stuns me how frequently people bash one another's musical tastes, though here on U2start they're well-respected.

  10. 29 years ago at this very hour my buddy and I were landing in Atlanta for the 3rd of 4 shows we were seeing that week. 1st of 2 nights in Atlanta at the Omni. A nice change to indoor arena after 2 stadium shows and the 1st shows with The BoDeans as support. And the fitting Help snippet to close the show on the anniversary of John Lennon's death...

    (sigh) the good old days...
