Oh no you haven't... You should see it. Come the 4th I'll be stickering by the thousands and weeping as I go.

I am, yeah. 3rd year soft eng.

Yeah, final year in journalism and then hopefully immediately getting a job!
I do recall you mentioning that actually. Wasn't he working on one of those flight apps (I may be pushing my memory a bit here)?

Final year...I don't envy you. Good luck finding a job anyway, hopefully you walk right on in to one as well.

Haha, it can't be that bad...

What kind of thing are you hoping to get into when you leave then?

Yeah, he briefly worked for Skyscanner. But he now works for a company that takes contracts from other companies to make their apps, pretty cool.

Thank you, I hope so too, otherwise it's reducing stuff for a living.
  5. I'm not sure what precise field I want to work in, but I'm pretty fortunate with software really. Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, certain parts of Northern England all have a lot more software vacancies than people qualified to fill them. I'll get by. Hopefully at some startup that I can fleece until they get bought by mother G.

Yeah, I don't think you'll have much of a problem finding work. When I started looking, there were loads of jobs available, particularly around Manchester which was one area I was looking for work. I'd imagine there are endless opportunities in London if you're willing to relocate.

  7. Signed up for this ages ago but I hadn't linked my music players. I've started using it now.
  8. EDIT: Double post
  9. Interesting. Most listened track: Sweet Child o'Mine

This actually tells a lot about my year: "u2santos listened the most from 4:00am to 5:00am"
  10. Looking very festive there, Paul.
