1. Listening to Pop on cassette. Yourself?
  2. Currently laying in bed waiting for dinner to be ready, then probably with the girlfriend to lounge around. Take it easy tonight. Going to spend the day in the city tomorrow and top if off with a show at Chicago's "House of Blues" club venue

  3. Relaxing. Storage Wars catch up, maybe a film later. Didn't get much sleep last night so I'm hoping to slow down to a stand still
  4. Gotta love these relaxing nights, everybody. They're a blast, really.

    What show is it?
  6. Trippin' Billies, the nations' highest regarded Dave Matthews tribute band. My cousin (who owns his own sound production company and is currently touring with All Time Low) used to be Trippin's touring manager and sound engineer for their live shows, and is in town this weekend- so he's doing a one-off mix for them tomorrow night. Last year we saw the show, he guest-listed us and we met the band- I'll have to call him up tomorrow and see if he can throw us on there or not.
  7. That's cool! All Time Low are touring the UK next week I believe. Will he be touring with them there too?
  8. Yep, he leaves for the UK on Sunday to hit that leg with them. Been all over the world already, I think they're going for round two now.
  9. Wow, that's amazing. They had to do two nights in Glasgow because of high demand for tickets. They are really starting to get popular but they aren't my cup of tea - they are a bit whiney.

That's a really cool job though, something I'd love to do.
  10. Yeah he has a great time with it though he's frequently exhausted and never really knows what city/country he's in because he only ever really is around the venue, and they all look the same haha.
  11. Haha, especially when a lot of the concert venues in the UK are called 'O2 Academy', that's bound to confuse you.
  12. Oh my god I know..I look at tour schedules and I'm just like...why are they playing the same venue...in 4 different countries? Hahaha...what's the story with that anyway? I mean here in the US its always some crap like "Pepsi Arena" or "First National Bank Center"....stupid crap like that. Is O2 something corporate?

Here in Chicago we're lucky, because Soldier Field is technically a memorial to the fallen soldiers that are from Chicago, so its name can't be changed. And the United Center, another place U2 frequents and my own personal favorite venue, is technically corporate-ized by United Airlines, but "United Center" just sounds so natural and flows off the tongue that you'd never think twice about it. I barely even remember most of the time.
