  1. Aw fuck man they're at a fantastically small venue on the north side of Chicago called the Beat Kitchen for only TEN DOLLARS, but its on a Wednesday night. No way I can swing getting there by any means.
  2. Not bad. I'd love to see Van Halen. Seen Arctic Monkeys, might see The Black Keys - they are playing in Edinburgh in March. So far, it looks like this for me:

    June 6 - Coldplay
    June 20 - Pearl Jam (might end up going on the second night too)
    August 24-26 - Reading & Leeds Festival

  4. At the time, I couldn't afford the second night. I'm gonna have to search for a second night ticket somewhere. Damn I'm so looking forward to seeing them.

    Who's headlining Lollapalooza? Or is there any rumours of who is headlining it?

    Not all on the same bill at all, but just names getting tossed around as possibilities based on new albums/touring schedules/general speculation
  6. That's the same for Reading and Leeds, no acts confirmed yet but alot of acts being rumoured and all. Those artists include:

    Foo Fighters
    Green Day
    The Killers
    The Stone Roses
    Two Door Cinema Club
    Radiohead

    I'd be extremely happy with the first three as headliners.
  7. Killers new album should be absolutely prime. Love new stuff from them. Foo Fighters are legendary, Green Day are meh anymore but I'd still see them, Stone Roses on that big comeback would be epic to see at a fest, and Radiohead....they're gonna have to prove themselves as a live band that can support themselves after that shitty King of Dicks album.

    Don't know anything about TDCC but they might be opening for Foster the People when I see them? Thought I read that somewhere.

    Pumped Up Kicks is a great catchy tune. Call It What You Want is also pretty good as is Love. On the whole, they're not too bad. Torches is a good album but I suspect the best is yet to come.

    This is what The Edge thinks "I think Torches by Foster the People is a very interesting new album. Very 21st century pop, but it’s beautifully made and thrilling."
