1. Probably gonna delete all these since I told him I was on the crew at U2start
  2. Maybe it’s us u2starters that are only the casual fans and over at u2 gigs they all want UTEOTW dropped because it’s an overplayed regular lol. It could be his only controversial u2 opinion and he happened to share it with you.
  3. Just read this excerpt in an article I'm reading and it gave a chuckle:

Last November Noel Gallagher revealed to the Sunday Independent that he lives on the same street as the U2 bassist - five doors up from him, in fact. "Adam came to my house recently," Noel said, "and our cat Boots came walking in. Adam went: 'So, that's your cat?' I asked him, 'How do you know that cat?' He said, 'That cat is always at my f***ing house!'"

"I wouldn't have a cat," Adam laughs. "Noel's cat always comes round looking for food. I don't think they feed him. He's a very cool cat. Looks like a stern leopard!"
  4. How do you guys want to see U2 resign? The last gig, when, and where?

  5. I dont think we'll see them officially call it a day. They'll just slow down drastically. They wont tour and wont release new music. Maybe an odd appearance here and there. I doubt they'll have a tour or album and brand it as their last one or farewell. I think they'll only stop when the first one unfortunately dies.

I think about three last concerts, maybe LA, Berlin, and Slane. Imagine the last U2 concert at Slane Castle. Set up for 500k people, at slane. Obviously, it all ends with 40. Just let me dream.

    500k.

Of course that would be possible, at Slane.

I don't think they'll "officially" call it, either. They're not the type of band to do the "farewell tour", then the "farewell, farewell tour" and then the "ok, this is really farewell tour" that so many bands do today...

But, while I hope it's not true, I have my reservations this may be the last tour. We've gotten three tours in three years - substantial considering the bands output the last decade. The next record will take longer (even though they probably have the ground work laid already) but I think it'll take them awhile to recover from the last few years... add in the fact Adam is a new dad that wants to see his kid grow up, and I think the rest are ready to relax and enjoy what they've worked for... take some time to reflect, if you will...
  9. It would be doable, some of us might never leave this place, but it's worth it. Ok, let's go with 250k.
  10. Just watching the NHS awards and it really touched me. Amazing what some of these individuals are doing and a young girl who lost her friend last year at the Manchester concert raising money. Sorry to change the tone I just think these people are incredible and worth appreciating.
