  4. Its that time of year where every is working their butts off trying to regain financial stability after U2 going crazy with remasters, tours etc. for 3 years straight.

  8. I was just checking out Monza (Italy) on google maps and by coincidence I noticed a supermarket called U2 supermercato.

    I thougt PopMart was the only U2 supermarket, but there seems to be an entire chain of U2 supermercato's in the north of Italy/Milano area (https://u2supermercato.unes.it/). Anybody knows the story behind that name and has it something to do with our band?? I can understand the logic behind the U2 metrolines in Berlin and Vienna, but why would you name a supermarket U2 (other than you just love the band)??

    It looks like it’s a subsidiary of ‘Unes’ so ‘Unes 2’ shortened to ‘U2’.
  12. yes ok, but unlike the metrolines which are just numbered consistently U1, U2, U3, U4, this seems to be a deliberate choice for U2. Your explanation clearly makes sense, but I guess there still where many other options available.
