1. So it was in a way 'homecoming' for them too. They'd have been a great band to see, from what I have seen of them.
  2. They are absolutely amazing live. The singer probably beats Bono at being a great frontman and leading a crowd. At least he's in that league.

Not exactly a homecoming, but a very important city for them.

  3. This is a video from the other concert I saw with them. This is an absolutely epic opener. And I can see myself in the video

    EDIT: Forgot the excellent video

  4. No no I meant a home like where they made it big.

But yeah, he's like someone I'm thinking - Alice Cooper, who gets the crowd going and knows how to engage them in a show and whatever it is he's doing. Better than those guys that just stand there and sing and look bored as all fuck - again, Roy did that but he was doing something there, something incredible.

    Video not showing up...

Edit: you were in the white shirt with the sunglasses and about 19 foot tall?
  5. Edited in the video I was gonna post above.

Yeah, he's such an energetic performer, and has the crowd under total control. Tells great stories about the songs.
  6. Sometimes those people can become boring with their stories but at times you like to know to get a real feel for the song, and his emotions.

I should post some show videos I went to. Like:

    (unexpected this at the show)

    and...one for you.

  7. Ok, let's have some fun. Here's another video from the same festival as the video above. Guess what time this was:

The great thing about his stories are that they're always a bit different, told in a different way, it's not a prepared thing he says every night.

His stories are in no way boring, they're epic and met with loads of cheers during the stories.
  9. I'll guess that one there is about 1.30am, because it looks early in the night.

  10. Really, did you play the video? The colors when you play the video are a close to perfect presentation of how it actually was.
  11. No, but I am now.

I've never really thought Coldplay were all that much, but I remember I did like that song a lot. 7.30pm I'll say now as a more realistic factor.
  12. Yeah, Youtube darkens the video a lot for that preview photo.

But, your first guess was actually better. Video taken at about 11pm, welcome to the land of the midnight sun!
