1. On the image, you should have options to share at the top. Click share, then select 'Grab HTML/BBCode' in that code you'll see a URL ending in .jpg

So to post one of my images:

Just delete everything around the .jpg URL and insert the relevant IMG tags
  2. okay.... trying... again.... sorry guys, you know me *dumb*
  3. When you right click, do you get links to the image in different sizes? "Medium 500 • Medium 640 • Large" click whichever you want, then right click on the picture that comes up, and you should be able to copy the link to the image. Or at least open it in a window of its own that you can take the adress from.
  4. Yeah, Olof's method does also work Probably quicker his way.

  7. Hey guys,

I need a little assistance and I am hoping that some of you will be interested in this.

I'm currently sitting in my final year of school. University is coming up for me (had no offers yet), and I'm hoping to study Journalism. In my personal statement, I put that I own a blog and contribute to it every so often. I haven't written an article on it for a long time and also, the idea of it was me ranting and it sounded a bit boring in the end, so I decided to scrap it. I've created a new blog with a new concept - it's called Free Opinion. The whole idea of this is that I gather people up to write stuff for the blog so people who read it can experience different opinions on matters. You can write about anything: sport, music, politics, ranting on things, your experiences, television, movies. Anything. As long as it goes around the concept of a proper article. This leads me to saying that I am wanting people to help write articles for the blog. I'm hoping to make this blog rather successful. I'll be wanting people to try and promote the blog via twitter or any other servies throughout the internet. I know a few people here that may want to try it out. This would be a great thing for the universities I'm applying for to see. It also shows that I'm willing and determined for the Journalism course. I'm open to anyone who wants to do it. Feel free to contact me or post here to ask questions or express interest. If you say that you want to it, I'll contact you with questions and details!

    Thanks!

Sounds good, would be interested to see how you separate your conent though. My thoughts of a blog are sequential posts that don't necessarily run the same subject. If someone submitted an articl regarding politics, and then four people wrote about different aspects of sport, how would you/the user compare the opinions regarding a singular matter?

As for the Journalism course, I'm sure something like this would stand you in good stead. Some people I used to go school with are currently on journalism courses and have blogs/podcasts running so it's certainly relevant. I'd be interestedin contributing here and there though.

Good question. I'm pretty sure Tumblr has a setting where you can arrange stuff into certain topics. I know Blogspot has that feature. I kind of want it to be like what 'Comment is Free' is like on the Guardian website, although they don't really arrange their stuff. I could also arrange it into writers as well as topics, so people can read articles from the writer they may prefer.

That's good Tim, good to have you aboard. I'm trying to get a good amount of people so the flow of articles being released is regular. What subject(s) would you be particularly interested in?

    Also, happy birthday!
  10. I enjoy low-key birthdays, thanks. Not sure why my birthday is in my profile, how do I delete it

I'd be interested in sport (football/F1), some music, TV/film - anything really, except politics.
