Originally posted by LikeASongMatt, it was dangerously crowded. I mean that it was terribly, awesomely, incredibly and unbearingly (?) crowded. Worst "people sandwiching" I've ever witnessed or lived. Miles worse than Muse, Coldplay, U2 or Red Hot. In fact, there were 8-10 people around me who fainted only during the Miles' 40-mins set.
Holy crap, I'm sorry to hear that. Foo Fighters was pretty terrible at Lollapalooza- lottt of that people sandwiching. People rushed the barrier when they took the stage and started Bridge Burning, and took down a bunch of the crowd in their rampage. Through the show, if you climbed up on shoulders, you could see the steam circling through the crowd. It was about 10 or 15 degrees colder just above shoulder level. Friend of mine started throwing up a bit and almost fainted but we kept her hydrated.
Sorry to hear that had to be the case. Glad I have seats for them and The Black Keys in March.
