1. I'll definitely keep an eye on if they're ever around in the states. They'd probably get a low festival billing or open up for a very small club show, but I'd love to see them.
  2. They've never been to the US. It's a shame actually, they've never received the recognition they deserve. I think sometime in the coming year or two, they'll be supporting bands in really small clubs over there, I'm sure of it.
  3. Good to hear. I saw a band I really liked open a Metro gig (1100 capacity club) a few years ago, they were called Kinch. Really awesome indie/psych rock. Ended up opening up for Jimmy Eat World on their US tour a year later. See if you can find them, and if you ever see them on a bill, by all means try to catch the show.
  4. Listening again, they aren't really as psych-rock on the album as they were in concert. They did some trippy stuff at that gig, but their music is mostly just indie alternative.
  5. I'm listening to the Russell Watson album that arrived today insanely loud in headphones. There must be something wrong with this old portable CD player that I have by the bad... the sound gets distorted at low volumes.
  6. Haven't used a portable CD player in probably 8 years at least, those were the good ol days

Reminds me of The Vaccines but a little bit more synth-pop and more Jimmy Eat World like. It's alright.
  8. Same here, started using it again 'cause my iPod is so filled up.
  9. Love both the Vaccines and Jimmy Eat World.

Rumor has it Dinosaur Jr. are playing a street fest for free in Chicago this summer. Just caught wind of it, hope it all goes through and I'm not busy that night. Not gonna rearrange my schedule for it but that'd be cool.
  10. The Vaccines are pretty good. I've seen them supporting Arctic Monkeys and I also saw them soundcheck in the middle of town on New Year's Eve. Not that keen on Jimmy Eat World, but I like a few songs.

Who are Dinosaur Jr.? What are they like?
  11. Damn, this is too damn loud... can't stop listening though, beautiful music.
