  1. Speaking of foreign Amazon, do you get charged extra to import from another EU country? I bought the Boy/October/War boxset off Amazon US and was of course hit with an import surcharge. Still came out cheaper overall but that's not the case.

    If I ordered from Amazon.es/.de/.fr/.it apart from the elevated delivery cost, would I have to pay import taxes too?

    No, you just pay the VAT for your country and shipping. I order loads of stuff from Amazon UK. Our VAT is (I think) 5% higher than yours, so that is added for me.

    Original price of AB Super Deluxe on Spanish Amazon was EUR 69,99, but I paid EUR 59,31, that means I'm free of their VAT, right? But I didn't paid it for my country either

  7. That's probably because you're not part of EU.
  8. There is a chance customs will send you a bill for russian VAT. They cant check every package though, and it depends on Russian law when you need to pay VAT.

    In holland you dont have to if the shipping value is below EUR 23 (and its shipped from outside the EU). Above that you will have to pay 19% tax.

    I think that's the reason. Our VAT is 18% btw
