1. Achtung y'all
  2. Hallo Sergio!
  3. Mylo Xyloto is finally on Spotify it seems!
  4. I could never get into Mylo Xyloto. I loved all the albums before it, but that one...
  5. Mylo Xyloto is a return to form in my opinion. Really disliked Viva La Vida, whilst X&Y started to bore me. Parachutes is still the one to beat...
  6. ^ Agreed with Parachutes. It's a brilliant album. X&Y apart from the 'big songs' I felt the same. Loved Talk and those ones - and there was a great outtake or B-side (whatever it was) it had on the DVD that I just can't remember it's name that I thought was awesome.

That, sir, is a +1-worthy post.

    BTW, from the Listening topic:

  8. In my opinion, X&Y is their worst album, by far. I really liked Viva la Vida and I prefer it to Mylo Xyloto. MX just got a bit over-produced, a bit boring in the end after listening to it endless times...
  9. Does anyone think Para-Para-Paradise is over-over-played too fucking much?
  10. I can't say I "disliked" VLV, not at all... But it sounded too pretencious, too ambitious... Some of the songs are excellent, but looking back, the final overall result was pretty disappointing. MX has at least 3 songs that are better than any song in VLV.

PS. I'm gonna rename this to General CP Chat 16
  11. Mylo Xyloto didn't hit me from the frist few listens, but after 'rediscovering' it last month, there are some really good tracks on there. My favourite is probably Us Against The World which seems to have elements of the old Coldplay, a good point in my book.

    Paradise is overplayed.

VLV had some good tracks but on the whole it wasn't particulaly great.
  12. I might give it another listen. Probably my favourite song off Viva would have been the last one.
