1. Ah right. Sounds like you just have to write a lot of shit. My exact tactic for tomorrow!

It is, believe me. I'm currently studying 'intensive peasant farming' which is apparently quite popular in South East Asia for making rice and wheat. But it gets a lot worse when you have to talk about how cliffs collapse and stuff, ugh. I prefer the population stuff, like how countries have low populations and how some countries are in poverty etc.
  2. "Intensive peasant farming" just gave me a good, hearty laugh.

Yeah, I would have thought a geography course would have been slightly more interesting, that's a shame.

BTW, what did Blur play on the Brits?
  3. Haha, the "intensive peasant farming" is actually terrible. We have this really boring teacher, like seriously boring and we get her first lesson in the morning. Ugh, oh my god, it's horrible. That's probably why I find the subject so boring.

Blur played: Girls & Boys, Song 2, Parklife, Tender & This Is A Low
  4. 'Parklife' is definitely Top 3 Blur for me! Really hoping they do some US shows this year, which is just naive optimism talking.
  5. Blur are doing a show at Hyde Park to close the Olympics this summer and I think that may be their last show for a while. Although, I really want to see them. 'Song 2' is my favourite because it's so raw.

Right, they've also got one other date though- a small festival if I recall correctly. Albarn said something last year along the lines of possibly getting out and playing shows "overseas", but theres also plenty of places to go overseas from Europe that ISN'T here, so who knows.

I just really, really wanna see them. Damon Albarn in any capacity would be cool (i.e., Gorillaz), but Blur would be what I'd hash out some real dough for.
  7. Hopefully they decide to do more shows and then hopefully, a world tour. I would just love to see them.

Have you seen their documentary 'No Distance Left to Run'?
  8. No but I'm thinking about picking it up

  9. It's great. It's a bit like PJ20 in the way that they go from the start of their career to the 2009 reunion shows. Really in-depth and interesting, definitely.
  10. Isn't there Hyde Park footage on the DVD too? I'd be interested in that for sure.
  11. I believe there is. At the end of the documentary, there is footage of one of the shows at Hyde Park.
  12. Almost got my FAFSA filed. Need to contact the college's financial aid administrator. Planning on doing it on Monday. Should be able to finish up by next Tuesdays deadline.

Remind me to never procrastinate this much ever again.
