1. I would and I wouldn't.
  2. DLing and keeping the bsides then maybe? Are THEY worth it?
  3. Oh yes! The B-sides and stuff you wanna look for from each album:

  4. Ah I've been dying to hear their cover of Helter Skelter. I'll find it online next week for sure and get back to you. Get a Grip is honestly my favorite studio album right now, tied with Permanent Vacation. I haven't listened all the way through Toys in the Attic yet......

Something tells me that's the classic favorite.
  5. My classic favourite is probably Draw The Line followed by the first album.
  6. Newer favourites for me? I have a good few actually.

The Pink remix, Girls Of Summer and Lay It Down are all on O Yeah Greatest Hits, Deuces Are Wild is on Big Ones and Young Lust - Young Lust I'd recommend more so because it has all the B-sides to Get A Grip in one set.
  7. What about newer favorites? And weren't Pink (SB mix), Girls of Summer, and Deuces are Wild on some greatest hits comps?

I'll listen to Helter Skelter tomorrow, roommate is asleep and I've misplaced my headphones.
  8. I don't really have much use to buy a greatest hits comp., I already have O Yeah and just keep deleting tracks off of it as I acquire the actual studio albums. I'll just DL the B-sides and classify them somehow.

    Favorite post-1980 album?
  9. Favourite post-1980 album? Done With Mirrors, Nine Lives or Bobo.

Newer favourites in order from PV onwards:

    Shame On You
    The Reason A Dog
    Shela
    She's On Fire
    The Hop
    Darkness
    Rag Doll
    St John
    Hangman Jury
    Girl Keeps Coming Apart
    Permanent Vacation

  10. Nine Lives is so chill to just relax with, I really enjoy it. I thought actually that and DWM were "bombs" when they released? Didn't go over well or something?

Taste of India is such a great track, easily my fave off of Nine Lives. Currently playing The Movie- great ending to Permanent Vacation, which is fighting Get a Grip for favorite album right now.

Yeah for some reason Done With Mirrors tanked bad. Not nearly as bad as Rock In A Hard Place - which itself has a few good songs and a fair bit of filler / crap (and the only album which has drumming contributions from Steven Tyler).

Nine Lives, I don't think it bombed but it didn't do all that well. Sadly, a song like Taste Of India is lesser-known than I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and not as-well-liked. The Movie is so good on so many levels. It really takes you somewhere else.

And don't worry, you'll have another Aerosmith album to buy this year - the new one! I'm looking forward to.
  12. Done With Mirrors is a horrible album name and had a horrible album cover, but hey- doesn't mean its a bad album. I'll give it a spin sometime.

Did you hear about the special that Steven Tyler did with Carrie Underwood? A duet show on a country music channel- it was spectacular. I can't even put into words how amazing she sounded on Aerosmith songs.
