1. Nine Lives is so chill to just relax with, I really enjoy it. I thought actually that and DWM were "bombs" when they released? Didn't go over well or something?

Taste of India is such a great track, easily my fave off of Nine Lives. Currently playing The Movie- great ending to Permanent Vacation, which is fighting Get a Grip for favorite album right now.

Yeah for some reason Done With Mirrors tanked bad. Not nearly as bad as Rock In A Hard Place - which itself has a few good songs and a fair bit of filler / crap (and the only album which has drumming contributions from Steven Tyler).

Nine Lives, I don't think it bombed but it didn't do all that well. Sadly, a song like Taste Of India is lesser-known than I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing and not as-well-liked. The Movie is so good on so many levels. It really takes you somewhere else.

And don't worry, you'll have another Aerosmith album to buy this year - the new one! I'm looking forward to.
  3. Done With Mirrors is a horrible album name and had a horrible album cover, but hey- doesn't mean its a bad album. I'll give it a spin sometime.

Did you hear about the special that Steven Tyler did with Carrie Underwood? A duet show on a country music channel- it was spectacular. I can't even put into words how amazing she sounded on Aerosmith songs.
  4. I saw bits and pieces of it. Can't say I really was all that interested in the country thing - but then I do like country music.

Done With Mirrors was a clever title alluding to their drug habit 'done with snorting off mirrors'. I've always thought Just Push Play was a bit of a dodgy title. Most people, according to reviews wanted to just push stop.

That actually makes me appreciate it a little more haha. I thought Carrie on Sweet Emotion was pretty unreal, myself- but each to his own. Where you off to today?
  6. I wonder what their new album will be called. The Street Jesus I'm taking bets on.

Today I'm heading off to see a friend for a few drinks and checking out what's happening around the city. Apart from that...just been doing more music production and stuff.
  7. Sounds nice, seeing friends and working on music. Kind of what I've been trying to do with most of my free time lately. Enjoy yourself, don't let me keep you if you need to be out
  8. No no I'm alright here, I have about another 15 minutes to go then I gotta quickly clean up and head out. Well if you're interested I'll show you some of my stuff I've done.
  9. I'd love to take a listen tomorrow morning, so anywhere you'd like to drop it, I'll be sure to play it in the AM. Just past midnight, here.

  10. Well there's three of them that I'm contributing towards a project with Olof. Wow....just getting past 4pm now. Timezones eh.
  11. Mirror Way Out West?! Just looking at the URL....that's a sick name for a project, if that's what you are!
  12. Yeah but it has nothing to with snorting coke or Aerosmith for me. That's my YT name. It appears in:

These songs are a little bit experimental - pretty much one day I bought a new computer, found Garageband and started playing around, and here's three of the results.
