1. Vinyl. As the alphabet goes, I before Y.

  2. Maybe that's the mnemonic rule I need, thanks Although I will probably start to write "vynil" histerically next time
  3. You do, and grammar Nazi shall strike once more.

i was planning to do the same last week, but then when i counted how many i have to rip i gave up haha
  5. The night I bought my first iPod I probably spent 8 hours in front of the computer importing all of my music. Had never actually logged all of my music into the computer before that date.

It was in 2005 I think.

  6. Start doing a few every day or something

I find more CDs to import every time I look at my collection, lol. I should make it a habit to import the CDs when I come home with them.

When I get the new phone I'll get a 32GB memory card for it and have like 2000 songs on it
  7. Yeh im going to have to do it bit my bit, recently i have been ripping them as soon as i got home from Uni, but from 2009 till the start of this year i didnt, its just so boring and repetitive haha.
  8. I'm trying to rip everything in lossless.
  9. i starting doing that with my Muse albums last year, but it was taking up to 60MB a song and my i phone was filling up so quickly. Unless you have really good headphones/ speakers i dont think most people can tell the difference.
  10. I convert them to 192 kbit/s for mobile use But on the computer there's room enough to have them in lossless. I play music on pretty damn good speakers from the computer. It's also good to be able to burn CDs for people from lossless files, so that they won't suffer double compression. And of course... it's the way to have good backups if a CD breaks!
  11. 20 mins til Lollapalooza ticket sales, everybody. 20 mins.
  12. Good luck!!!
