They release tickets in 2 price tiers- Early Birds, and regular sale. The early birds are cheaper. And they just sold out. Because I wasn't in line. Because I wasn't on the right website. BECAUSE OF LOLLAPALOOZA!
Yeah I can still get regulars, it just fucking blows that a die hard like me who sits here wasting his life away to get these gets slapped with the extra money because they didn't update the right page.
It's sitting in my pile of other albums to go yet. Though when Band of Gypsys finishes playing, that'll be next.
Matt - that's what pissed me off about Alice Cooper. I sat there, early 9am and got like ten rows back. Fuck that. Well hopefully you still go at least.
Also I'm not THRILLED about blowing $230 on a festival that we know 0 bands on the lineup yet.
And I'd kill to get ten rows back at a ticket sale. I refresh refresh at the minute before ticket sales and generally end up with pretty terrible seats anyway. The scalping industry in the US is obscene and disgusting.
