There are some heated feelings in the game... The refs gave been pretty bad. Yemelin has played very ugly hockey and should have been sent off for the rest of the match for spearing in the first period. That's where it all started. Franzen is so pissed at him for that spearing.
Not anywhere near as rough as that spearing by Yemelin in the first period though. That he wasn't sent off for the rest of the game after that was probably the reason why the guy who hit Franzen was.
Damn, having as many injured players as we have is no good. The players get tired because they have to play so much.
