I ´ll drink a beer in your honor

  3. Anyone around?
  4. I am for just a few minutes here. Hi, Olof
  5. Hello Matt! Been a while, eh. How are you?
  6. Yeah its been a while indeed. I blame it being summer and my having 5 million things to do at all times

I'm fantastic- balancing life between my band and my job, both of which take up as much time as I have. Even today, I'll be leaving for a pretty much day-long band practice in an hour or two, preparing for our first show on Friday.

How are things in Sweden with you?
  7. I am a bit tired after the running at school today... 4,5 kilometers (may be a little less than three miles to you) in 19:15.... I am satisfied that I beat my time of 20:07 from last year.

Otherwise I'd say things are good. Summer is coming here too. Some big exams and that stuff, but not anything that should be that tough for me.

I am looking forward to the holidays which I hope to spend with music.

Right now I am watching my Phantom Of The Opera 20th Anniversary performance at the Royal Albert Hall DVD... I love it.
  8. Sounds enjoyable to me!

The band is premiering some songs I wrote on Friday night so I've just spent all of my time tweaking those and singing them to myself in my head..it's going to be a good time. First time a song I've written will ever have come full circle and be performed live.
  9. That's great... we want recordings!

I've done some covers and uploaded them to Soundcloud lately... www.soundcloud.com/mr-trek if you want to listen. Hope to upload some stuff of my own when I get the time to really work on my stuff.
  10. I will eventually I'm sure. And I can try to have someone record the songs...if not, we'll get around to some form of a rough demo sooner or later.

    Look forward to hearing them

Oh, damn, I love The Phantom Of The Opera... A LOT. It's so amazing. Seeing it on The West End in London was fantastic.
  12. When I was in the school's symphonic band we got to play selections from Phantom. Good stuff.
