1. Yeah, it was at half 1.

It went well. She said that I passed the interview and will get a phone call in the next couple of days.
  2. Congrats for that, Kieran I hope everything goes fine! Having a job, even if it's a part time thing or something, is great. You start earning your own money and suddenly become "more adult" if you know what I mean. I love it. Oh, and having a job also allows me to travel to Eire, so it's even better than the real thing
  3. Thanks guys! She started talking about an induction on Friday, so if she's talking about that then I pretty much have the job. My brother worked there for 6 years and he said that if you get an interview, then you have been pretty much got the job. Unless you completely mess up the interview. Not confirmed yet, but here's hoping!

It would only be temporary too, but it can be made permanent in the near future.

Ahh, a job. Good timing too as I'm absoutely skint at the moment
  4. contragulations and stll fingers crossed
    what is it about Kieran?
  5. Cheers Ronnie! It's at a massive supermarket called Tesco. Gigantic company in the UK.
  6. good ... be sure you'll have the day off in 3 weeks for Manchester hehe
  7. I'm also skint, and the job I just got myself (which is already permanent from day 1, and I do it at home! Awesome) is the best thing to happen in this year so far. I'm as happy as can be

Well, I'd be happier if I found someone selling a ticket (at face value) for the Snow Patrol gig in Dublin next July

  8. Yeah for those who don't know, Tesco in the UK is the equivalent of Google and Facebook combined in terms of size.

  9. Haha yep. I wouldn't be working a Wednesday anyway, so lucky me!

Sergio: what do you do as a job?
  10. Congratulations on the interview - and the job when it does come!!!

Jobs are just getting harder to find.
  11. They are. I've applied for many jobs since last October and I finally got somewhere. It was the first interview I was offered out of so many jobs.
