  3. Kieran - you can't negotiate hours to suit you or is it all pre-defined by the company? I know my job I could call up a few hours before and get it changed but that ended up creating way too much tension and being called lazy by supervisors and co-workers. Maybe they were right.

    Olof - what sort of work interests you?
  4. Dunno, maybe driving the ballpicker on the driving range at my golf club. I've been meaning to ask about that. I know they were short on people for that a few years ago.

  11. Apparently you can negotiate hours, but I'm not willing to do that at the moment. I'm only on a temporary contract, although I've been told by my department that I'm likely to keep the job as they are lacking staff.

    I will enquire about changing the Saturday to make it better, but I doubt they will get round to doing it as some managers there are very imcompetent and unorganised.

    I'm doing extremely well, besides the slight pain of the hours. Job is fun, well paid (still haven't received my first salary, though; next Monday 25th!!) and easy to do for someone who's been online-moderating for the last 5 years Oh, and my free day is on Friday, so I after all can meet my friends and go out etc.
