This is why I was freaking out with U2. Literally going nuts like I'm not working to miss the best band in the world. They wanted me to work but I rang them while I was interstate and said I can't come to work. They asked why not, and I said because I'm 700 kilometres away.

    That stuffed 'em.

It wouldn't work if your workplace is at home though

  3. You should've told them of some internet problems or something.
  4. Didn't matter to me because I left two months later. Stupid mistake as I've been out of work for five months.

If it was at home, it's a different matter.
  5. yep, working at home is a curse
  6. But you get your own chair. That's worth it all.
  7. All it was - a kick in the little box thing his chair sits in!!!

Maybe he's upset because it was seen by millions of people leading to embarrassment.
  8. Ahhh.... some music was just put on to enrich my cooking. Temple Of The Dog. Nothing like music and cooking. This brunch will be awesome.

Apparently he "drew blood". Nalbandian obviously thought it was a little box which wouldn't tear away that easily. Also, the thing he kicked was likely to be something similar to polystyrene.

Apparently the police are getting involved in this incident. A bit far if I'm honest.

Really?! Wow, that's absurd. Guy just got mad and unwillingly hit the linesman, nothing more. Disqualifying was a bit harsh but understandable, right. BUT police too? WTF
  11. police goes way too far, imo
