I think I'll try changing that string again, because I accidentally tuned that string way too high, so it actually goes out of tune by going up in pitch if you don't play for a while. Hopefully changing that string will solve the issue. Otherwise I'll have to think of something else.

    Definitely get the electric out

It goes up? Never heard of that happening. Is it a nylon string? Ah sure look it, you'll figure it out I'm sure.

Red Hot Chili Peppers tonight, can't wait. :O
  2. ^ Lucky bastard!
  3. Never heard of a string going up in pitch (when not using it, of course) either. In fact, every little Physics knowledge I have goes against that
  4. That's what I was thinking, Sergio. It seems fairly impossible

    And Kieran... Haha >
  5. I really am out of touch with smilies in here.
  6. I guess it's not impossible. If the other strings go down in pitch the neck starts bending a little less which could I guess stretch a string that has been so stretched it doesn't go down in pitch from just being there.

Something like that. Anyway... I think I'll change that string
  7. Neck bending is pretty insignificant and negligible when compared to string loosening.

  8. Well... go find a better explanation A string tightening up seems a bit too strange.

  9. Genuinely in love with this song right now. Everyone has heard 'You Oughta Know' at one point - intentionally or unintentionally.

  10. Huh?

I mean that your explanation seems pretty much impossible to me. A string will never go up in pitch; it can stay the same while the others go down in pitch, yes, but that only leads you to think it's gone up (when comparing it to the others). And the effect that neck bending has over pitch is much, much smaller than the string loosening effect.
  11. Well... it has gone up in pitch.
  12. Yep, Kieran Alanis has some killer songs I have always adored Ironic, and will always do. It's ironic, because it isn't even her best song... But it just gets me. The last verses "It's like 10 thousand spoons when all you need is a knife / It's meeting the man of my dreams, and then meeting his beautiful wife" really touch me
