  1. That sounds horrid.

    I have a feeling that I may get jetlag this time because I arrive back in Edinburgh at 8am and I leave Florida at 3pm their time. So it's pretty much a full day of travelling.

    Tim, I suffer from travel sickness - particuarly on boats and sometimes cars. It can occur on trains and buses too though. Planes, I'm usually alright with. Although, I have problems when I fly: I can't sleep and I can't eat. I don't know why that is. When I do sleep, I only sleep for 20 minutes then I can't get back to sleep again. It's because the travel sickness pills make me drowsy.
  2. I gave up on travel sickness pills, probably because I had them when I was younger and they were supposed to be strawberry flavour ones that you chew. Made me feel worse.

    I suffer mainly in cars and buses/coaches. I'm happy to be sick in someone's car, or out of the window if I'm quick, but I will absolutely not risk it on public transport. I felt sick on an early train once, but we hit a signal failure and were sitting on the tracks for 20 minutes, so it subsided. But I was definitely ready to go to the toilet

    And I assumed it would carry over to planes, so just took the 'safer' option for me and didn't go to sleep. I don't know why it only occurs in the first 3-4 hours after sleeping. But I'd rather be safe than covered in sick.

  5. Although, that was pretty much the same situation the last time I went to America and I never got jetlag... You never know, could happen this time. Going for the hat-trick this time!

    Ah, I had similar travel sickness tablets which made me feel sick as soon as I took them, then made me feel terrible later on. Even the thought of them make me feel a little sick.
  6. Well, I was destroyed flying from Dominican Republic; departure at 18:00 local time, we arrived to Madrid at 11:30 more or so. And I was... well, destroyed. Moreover I was too young by then, and i couldn't party hard to get rid of it... so it was terrible. Let's hope it doesn't happen to you


    Mercury seems pretty stable at 23ºC and I doubt it'll go much lower, so it's time to go to bed. See you all tomorrow or whenever Much love to all

  11. I wonder if I'm on the brink of a new U2 period. I haven't listened to them that much lately, but I just really felt like putting the Mexico DVD on, so I did.
  12. Just to give a tiny bit of perspective of how vast the possibilities of music are... If you have seven notes and eight places to put them in there is a total number of 5,764,801 combinations. That is if my mathematics don't fail me. Keep searching for that perfect hook!
