1. I'm watching my Leeds ticket on eBay with a cup a tea knowing that 8 watchers could potentially pounce any minute now with 5 minutes remaining. This is tense.

Although, if no one bids on it, I will personally hunt every single one of those 8 watchers for doing jack all.

    Good luck K!
  3. Here comes the good bit: when everyone pounces on it like eight homeless guys going for a single cookie.
  4. Sold to the 'crazychick'.

Big step, yes My parents are all for it, although they obviously have their doubts and a certain reluctance (understandable, I'm only 22). And all my friends and collegues are absolutely for it, I have some friends that have lived abroad too and they've told me it's the very best thing I can do right now! I really think that it's going to be great, besides it being Ireland, etc... , I'm going to learn a lot and to "grow up" massively

Great news, Kieran! I hope you didn't lose much money in the end, I really do!
  6. Yeah, didn't lose too much on the ticket itself, but lost about £80 altogether because I had bought a bus ticket too. Not bad though.

Jack White has announced a UK & Ireland Tour. I'll get myself to that!
  7. Sorry to hear that, Kieran.

Jack White is coming to Madrid on Sept. 1st, and I have (expensive) tickets! Sadly I have to work that night, and I can't get a day off... So I will have to do the same as you with the Leeds ticket - sell it =(
  8. What a shame It's such a horrible feeling selling a ticket.

The chances that I'll get a ticket to see him anyway are bleak.
  9. Doo't remind me my Bruce Springsteen fiasco ¬¬ it was fucking awful! Surely Jack White doesn't compare to The Boss but still, the feeling of selling back a ticket you've put so many efforts and hopes in buying is... Ahh

Sounds like a challenge and a very cool thing to do. Are you planning on staying there forever or just a certain period?

Naaah, I told on my previous post! Something between 6 and 8 months Of course things can go super wrong and I can be back in Spain in 2 weeks, or maybe things go super well, I fall in love with the country and/or someone there, and I stay there for years! Who knows But yeah, the initial plan is moving there for ~7 months.
  12. Cool, cool you need some balls to do that

Great that you follow your dreams
