1. As you would be. When I do finally get to Ireland, you'd better know some good pubs.

Lol it says on the right I'm logged in twice. Must be my better half.
  2. U2start is now a nightmare on the iPad.
  3. How so?
  4. It seems to continually crash Safari, for me at least. If I browse in a single tab, it's ok. But if I have multiple tabs open, like now, I can be reading something in one tab ( news for example) then switch tabs to U2start and the browser will close. When I reopen Safari, it loads up a previous 'stable' session with my tabs from a few minutes ago.

  5. It was doing that to me a few months ago - it'd just black out and then throw me back to the springboard. Then for some reason it stopped and started running perfectly again.

No idea what the cause was; which OS version are you running?
  6. Apple yadda yadda.

I'm browsing with Linux right now (as my computer is mainly broke and Windows won't turn on) and it's sweeeeet and smooooooth like a baby's arse

    5.1.1
  8. Good night everyone
  9. Goodnight Santos

I should be off too, early start tomorrow Goodnight

  10. That can't be the problem then. It was really frustrating - even though I hated it, I went to the mobile site on iPad. Looked weird but it worked. Have you tried it through Chrome?

    Apple yadda yadda.

I'd love to change to Linux on my laptop. It's awesome.

What version of Linux e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu etc are you running? And good night to all as well!!!
  11. So it looks like the next couple of days will be interesting to me. If you haven't heard, Hurricane Isaac is slowly approaching the Gulf Coast, and it looks like it is about to hit hard. It is eerily similar to what happened with Katrina, almost to the day of the seventh year anniversary. I live about 150 miles from the coast, but they are predicting big storms, particularly in Wednesday.

It seems like the MS Gulf Coast is still trying to fully recover from Katrina, and I don't know what another hurricane like this will do. It looks like it will make landfall more west if where Katrina hit, but that means it will be more likely to actually hit New Orleans, which could be awful.

When Katrina hit, my hometown of Jackson, again 150 miles inland, essentially lost power for about a week. I really hope that doesn't happen again, and I'm hoping everyone gets out of harms way down south. I'm just hoping it won't be nearly as bad.
  12. Yeah, New Orleans doesn't exactly deserve another hurricane. Hope it gets milder. Hope you'll be safe too Les.
