1. That´s possible ...but Tim seems to be sleeping right now
  2. Sleeping Busy.

Why pay for a bus when you can walk for free? The free shuttle buses only operate within the city centre and the links between Manchester, Salford and Salford Quays are not great. I wasn't training, I went into the city centre before I had to go to university to collect my results. Then I decided to go to Salford Quays to take some pictures, but they didn't turn out great.

I don't mind walking, I'd rather walk than use a bus or taxi. It's the day after that I don't particularly enjoy
  3. I love walking around in Gothenburg on a nice day.
  4. It's great, you get to take much more in and occasionally, discover new shops/places to eat. The bus just takes you down the main roads, past all the places you know of.

It's not too bad for your health either

  5. +1

For me walking is boring ...i prefer running or riding a bike and always with music ( U2 often)
  6. Still no rain here, but should get here in the next few hours. I know down on the coast it has been rough. Last I saw 500,000+ are without power. At least one levee didn't hold too, causing major flooding. This afternoon and tonight should be interesting, to say the least.
  7. Can't hurt to repeat - stay safe, Les! Best wishes from a drier-than-an-arab's-sandal corner of the world
  8. Good luck, hope you and everyone will get lucky
  9. Yes, stay safe

  10. Paralympic opening ceremony looks great.
  11. I'm not sticking around for the nations to walk out again though.
