1. Sounds like my kind of day

Completely misread the "walking and walking and walking" bit for you know what...

  6. Well, I've got my new server running. I transferred all the important files over from the old one and EVERYTHING is broken. I'll fix it tomorrow. The only thing that works is that image I put in place of the chat server.

    How did your interview go?
  8. Tim, Matt.

Rather well I think. I've been invited to go along and see them in the work place tomorrow (today), and they will have a definitive answer for me on Monday. I can only hope.
  9. Well good luck with it Sounds positive so far.
  10. It does, yes. Although... And I'm going to sound like a whiny asshole saying this in the current job marlet, but I'm not overly sure I want to work there. The manager was very nice and all, but the staff and the work environment scream... motivational chants, motivational speeches, fucktards. I met a few of the staff while I was waiting for interview and I already want to stab them.

Give me crates, and I'll move crates. But don't put me in an office with a bunch of idiot marketers who blare music all day. I'll go insane.
  11. Haha, say what you want in the current job market. From what I've seen, there's plenty of jobs, no-one seems to want them or can't get them. A case of studying for a quarter of your life and then either being over-qualified or not in demand. There's loads of jobs that pay on the job centre, when I'm desperate, I'll take whatever you throw at me, until then, I'd like some control.

Well I'm glad you don't hate me for it. It almost scared me back into education, that place. The ambition of the fucktard employees (it took 3 of them to work out what "marital status" meant. And by that I mean it took 3 of them to ask me) is to work hard enough to get a middle management position and save up enough money for a 15 year old BMW M3.

It makes me want to run for the hills.

    I'll stop moaning now. Honest.
