    I just can't. No way. And the hours; I wouldn't be getting home until 10 PM every weekday.

    @Tim No, just exhausted.

    How are all of you?

    Okay, fair enough, being a salesman is one of the worst jobs possible - especially when it's trying to sell insulation. But getting home at 10pm? You'd have to deal with it. If you get bad shifts, don't let that put you off. My shifts in Tesco aren't great but I dealt with them and I ended up getting my Sunday cut.
  3. I can deal with bad shifts, but that is excessive. The work isn't even in Edinburgh, Kieran. The office is here but in the morning you get shipped off to fuck knows where (today it was Glenrothes) and you have to sell. You finish at 9 PM and then you have to make your own way home. When you get a crappy shift then you just have a 5 minute walk to your house; I would have a 1.5 hour commute!
  4. Fuck. Reject.

    Applied for any other jobs?
  5. I've applied for about 7 jobs in the last 5 days. And none of then are sales jobs, thank fuck.

    I usually do more but I've been a bit busy with this insulation sales company these past couple of days. I think I'll take a night off from job hunting tonight.
  6. If a tech advisor job was available at Tesco, you'd be the first person I would recommend. But unfortunately, Tesco Corstorphine aren't looking for anyone right now. Try other Tesco stores.
  7. If a job working in the home care section came up I would be the first one at it. Trust me.

    I've looked at all supermarkets in Edinburgh. Asda are the only one with any vacancy's at all really. I've applied for 5 jobs with them over the last week.
  8. Elbow are phenomenal live. Seriously good. Must see the. Somewhere.
  9. Hey

  10. I saw them open for U2 at Wembley and Sheffield, from then on really, I've wanted to see them do their own show. I agree, they are great live. They got a fair number singing to "Whoa-oa-oa-oa" bit from Grounds for Divorce at both venues too.
