    Well I like to always see the bright side of things. For instance, this helps me realizethe level of my affections for this girl as I have yet to find myself thinking "That bitch got me sick", but mostely "I hope she feels better too, cause this bugs sucks."

    yea, worked the same way for me...but mine was "that bitch got me sick"....not seeing her any more

    Well in that case I doubt there was much between you guys anyhow. Always other fish in the sea.

    In my case I find it hard to blame her because this time of year in michigan everyone gets sick. Plus shes the kind of person thats hard too stay mad at, if you know her well. Yesterday morning when I realized I was sick I was kind of annoyed with her, but since than, I find myself wondering if she has it less or worse than me ( I presume its as bad at least, as I ain't seen her since Tuesday.) and wondering how fast is she recovering.

  5. The other day, I was posting alot on here for advice about how to handle myself, and the fact that I dont have her phone number was one of the things that came up. Tim said I really dont need it at this point.

    Seriously, just give her illness back while, in the meantime, you ask her if she wants to watch a movie one time that then leads you to getting her number. Therefore, you can snuggle being 'ill-buddies'.

  10. Well I really like this girl, but have never had much luck with the previous sex. The person I would be most comfortable talking to about it in real life, a girl I've known for years who I have a sibling like relationship with, dont work for this, as she is friends with the girl I like.

    I tend to be somewhat aprehensive about posting here, because well you guys do give decent advice on the matter, you also tend to be kind of dickish, sometimes (though I sometimes walk into it).

    And personally I think we need a dedicated dating thread. I cant be the only person on here whose love life sucks.

    A lot of people have an unfortunate love life. I'll admit that mines isn't that great but I just don't feel this forum is appropriate for me to go and get advice and then go deep into it. You have every right to ask us and we will advise you, but it's up to you - or anyone else for that matter - if you want advice.

    Try and make an excuse to get her number and ask her to go on a date. That'll show your confidence.
