    Personally I would like to break the so called "touch barrier" before actually asking her out. I've heard the old "Let me get that eyelash off your face" ploy is good for this.

    Much agree, besides, you dont need everyone to know your love life, new and old it's could be a bad weapon for someone.

  3. What any given person goes with when it comes to romantic advice is probally diffrent.

    And I am really depressed I do got have any adult beverages in my fridge tonight. How am I supposed to celebate my team making it too the World Series without some booze? This is even a bigger conundrum than my love life(there is a bit of a correaltion between the two. When the Tigers win, I tend to be in a bettwer mood, and as such when I next see her, I tend to come off much more ovious that I like her.)

    When it comes to romance I always think of this quote. I forget who it was by, but I think a genrael.

    In any case, I'm pretty sure, I'll make some kind of move next week. What I haven't decided yet, but like I said, there is a correlation between how good the Tigers are doing, and how bold I am with my flirting (I'm 80% sure at this point she has realized I like her. I've read women are beter at picking up if someone likes them than guys do. I've also read that even if they dont like a guy, if he is nice to her, and gives her lots of attention, that she might change her mind). Granted I think she likes me at this point, but I suck at reading women.

    Just trying to figure out how to break the touch barrier, without being ovious, as neither of us are particularly physically afectionate in public. Still leaning towards the old "You got an eyelash, hair, etc on your face. Let me get it for you." ploy.

  7. This board can be such a sausage fest sometimes, it can be easy to forget that we have members of the better looking gender around here.

    In any case, there are a number of little things I've notice about her that lead me to belive that my affection for her is a two-lane street.
  8. Yeah it can be! I found that if you pay a compliment like ie You know what I like or love about you is that you are so straight forward blah blah blah..............................
    If she smiles and goes shy but agrees, she likes you alot!
    If she slightly justifies herself that she is like anybody else, she only likes you as friend but doesn't mean you cant change her mind.*inserts cheeky smile*
    and lastly if she answer straitght forwardly with you and jokes, shes comfortable with you and see's as a good friend but you perhaps have hit a sore spot in a good friendship or you have found your soul mate, hard to tell between the two.

    But thats just telling you from some women, some women are different
  9. Tuesday morning I was talking with some of my guy friends over her. She kept looking at me. She was trying to take a nap, so it could have been she was pissed off, but her expression seemed more upset than mad.

    The reason I ignored her was my friends (god bless them) are quite frankly assholes (I still love them), and I'm not really comfortable having the kind of deep conversations that I have with her, when there around.

    Rest assure though, I talked with her a fair amount latter. Evidently I got close enough to her to catch whatever bug she had.

    One thing I've noticed is she tends to talk a little bit quieter to me than too ther people. I think this is a ploy (presumably subconscious) to get me to either lean in, or move closer too her.

  11. Well to be fair I tend to overthink stuff. There could be any number of reasons why she would choose to talk quieter too me, or it could all be in my head.

    One incident that makes me think she likes me was one time she walked a good distance out of her way to ask me to watch her stuff when she went tothe ladys room. Usually when she goes to the bathroom, or to get lunch, etc she just leaves her stuff behind.

    Also a few minutes after that she took her sweater off, but commented to me that she was going to before she did. Bringing attention to the fact that she was taking off a piece of clothing seemed flirtatious.
