    This is the truth. Well, the second part anyway. Do something you'd both enjoy, or at least something you wouldn't mind doing if she is guaranteed to have a good time. If that involves enjoying a movie, so be it.

    Boy likes girl.
    Boy signs up to give blood in effort to get brownie points with girl.
    Girl gives boy stomach flu (specualtion, but she told me her dad and sister, both had it, and she went home early the day before I got sick).
    Boy cant give blood due to fact that he is still recovering from stomach flu.
