I was listening to I fall down these days, and I thought: what a terrific song!
If you wear that velvet dress - short, and sweet, live.
Holy Joe, Garage Mix. It rocks. Not the best way to kick off pop mart at k-mart, but I find the studio version quite good. If properly played, it could be a hell of a stadium song.
The Unforgettable Fire
Tomorrow
Like A Song
Heartland - just an incredible song
Van Diemen's Land (would have loved it if they tried this as an Edge Karaoke on Popmart)
Red Hill Mining Town has long been a personal favourite from TJT
WGRYWH
Babyface
The First Time
IGWSHA
When I Look at the World
Kite
The Ground Beneath Her Feet
Miracle Drug
Crumbs
Yahweh
Fez
Electrical Storm
The Hands That Built America
Given that it hasn't been played since 1985 (?) but was a staple on the UF tour, Wire sure is one of the lost gems in the U2 catalogue. It gets overshadowed by the "big 3" on the album and even has to take a back seat to ASOH and MLK. One can't help but wonder if U2 has it in them to pull these types of songs out for their next tour.
My initial response would be no way...but then again, they did play Your Blue Room in 2009,so who knows...I would also love to hear them play Two Hearts Beat As One......hasnt been performed in over 20 years, and it really is a great tune...glad I got it on the UF tour...
