    Great pics ( and videos ) !!

    Aidan , beatifual place !!
That beach is beatiful , but you have better in Brazil or not ?

Hm, it is really hard to say. We don't have beaches with that blue colour on the sea. The sea has a light green colour at some places here, but usually the water is darker than this. In other hand, there are a lof of places in the Northeast of Brazil where you can really stay in touch with mother nature, and this is quite an unique experience. So I believe the places are different, but very beautiful in their own way.

Thanks Chris! We're actually 30 km (45 kms by road) away from the main city But yeah, I'm pretty happy with the results. Seeing the ISS flying slooooowwly over your head (much slower than a plane at mid height) while it's actually travelling at EIGHT DAMN KILOMETERS PER SECOND on space is mingblowing, I felt really lucky to see it. And there's a moment when the ISS stops reflecting sunlight and it just disappears from your sight (it's there in the edited photo, the station simply disappeared). Magic.

Your pics are just mindblowing Sergio!

I was able to see ISS flying over my head once, but I didn't got my camera. You start to imagine what a view those astronauts have up there!

By the way I can see in your pictures that you live really close to the beggining of the ILS (Instrument Landing System) ramp, so this is the time we usually say that we're getting into the final approach, after our decent.

I'd love to see more pics like these coming!
  3. These past few pages have been great! Good work Sergio, I love light trails and none more so than the ISS. That moment you mention is known as 'entering the shadow', as it just fades away. Unfortunately, ISS won't be visible in the UK for a while now. February has been a great month for good magnitude, good length and good elevation sightings. I'd keep my eye out for Iridium Flares but they occur mainly in the morning (too early for me).

    Both beatiful places !
  5. @Aidan those shots are still amazing

@Drew, some shots are definitely 'repairable'. Perhaps even if you dont have the RAW files. Some potential there
  6. Aiden the water in your pics look absolutely stunning, love your pics, and the other pics posten are not too bad either, i really want to buy a good camera now so i need to speculate what to get, my last camera was a nikkon about ten years ago and it cost me 400 dollars, was good until my daughter took it camping, needless to say it was a broken camera afterwards with sand in it.
  7. Thanks for the words!

And if you're considering to buy a new camera, there are a lot of good options that aren't that expensive today, like the Canon T3i, which is not their latest model, but it is a good option because of the cost-benefit ratio of it.
  8. Damn that last one just looks illegal!

I just came back from u2's head master Remy, and snapped this about halfway back:

    Highway Gouda - The Hague

Fucked up the crop (was in a hurry):

Sign post on bicycle road crossing. Just in the middle of triangle Rotterdam - Den Haag (The Hague) and Gouda (cheese and syrup waffles)
