1. I find it difficult to see modern day U2 playing Street Mission/A Celebration - the raw nature of those early songs would be lost, U2 are too polished now. They'd be interesting to hear though because I'd guess they'd be so different.
  2. Would they even remember Street Mission is another question.

I could see them doing A Celebration, especially if they did Party Girl.

So true, I was pretty sad when it didn't appear in Barcelona :/
Beautiful track and they really managed to nail it in the rehearsals

On the "hoping/dreamy" side of things, my nickname would be fantastic, and the I Threw A Brick/A Day Without Me combo.

    YES.

Despite the fact that U2 have had many super awesome segues throughout their career (RTSS-Streets, RTSS-Pride, Please-Streets, October-NYD, Bad-Streets, etc, etc,) that one remains one of their best in my opinion. The drum outro of Threw A Brick and then just blasting into A Day Without Me (they did it best on the war tour) is just jaw-dropping. It just blows everything out of the water!
  6. A Sort of Homecoming is SO due for a return. Gloria and 11 O'Clock should get some stage time, as should October and Drowning Man.

Is God Part II "old school" enough? If so, they should play it!
  7. most of Pop needs to return though, kind of ridiculous how they've ignored it on the most perfect tour for it's return

  8. 100% My thoughts.
  9. how much old school?
  10. A Sort Of Homecoming.

Bad should be performed more regularly.

  11. Oh yeah, definitely. Last Night on Earth and Gone would have worked superbly on 360. I thought Discotheque would eventually be played, but nah, only a snippet

Although, do we class Pop as "old school tunes"?
  12. i find that Bad is perfect as it is ... sometimes somewhere

(maybe i can speak this way cause i got it many times )
