    3. The Unforgettable Fire
    4. Boy
    5. Rattle and Hum
    6. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
    7. All That You Can't Leave Behind
    8. Zooropa
    9. War
    10. Pop
    11. October
  4. 1. The Unforgettable Fire (no surprise there)

    4. Zooropa
    5. War
    6. Boy
    7. Rattle and Hum
    8. October
    9. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
    10. Achtung Baby (99% of the forum will disagree with me, but that will not change my opinion )
    11. All That You Can't Leave Behind

I agree with you on Pop, Zooropa and AB, but do you really like TUF that much?
    And what about ATYCLB?
  6. This seems to possibly be coming back...

I might have posted here in the past, I don't remember, but here's my current ranking:

    1) Achtung Baby
    2) The Unforgettable Fire
    3) Pop
    4) The Joshua Tree
    5) Zooropa
    6) War
    7) Boy
    8) Rattle and Hum
    9) Bomb
    10) October
    11) ATYCLB
  7. My tastes have changed a bit since the last time i posted so

    1) The Joshua Tree
    2) Achtung Baby
    3) ATYCLB
    4) Pop
    5) TUF
    6) HTDAAB
    7) Zooropa
    8) War
    9) Boy
    10) Rattle and Hum
    11) October
  8. I have a new ranking (and a question):

    1. Pop
    2. The Unforgettable Fire
    3. Boy
    4. Zooropa
    5. The Joshua Tree
    6. Passengers: OST1
    7. War
    8. How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
    9. Achtung Baby
    10. Rattle and Hum
    11. October
    12. Wide Awake In America
    13. All That You Can't Leave Behind
    14. Under A Blood Red Sky

Pop is one album I can listen right through, as is TUF, Boy, Zooropa, The Joshua Tree and Passengers. The rest have maybe one or three terrible songs on them that I cannot stand - Achtung Baby is a prime example of a few crappy songs (no matter how others may see it) - and I stand by that a year later - I still remember when I got flamed for it.

My question concerns something I want to know (and everyone, be honest) about most people putting Passengers very, very, very last on all ranking lists is have they ever actually listened to it in full, rather than Plot 180? I have it and I do listen to it quite often because it is a great album. Some tunes like Let's Go Native, United Colours and Miss Sarajevo are classic.

I don't list it in my rankings because it's not a U2 album.

Ah - only some songs are. I was thinking the same thing, but the question is open...

Which songs would be: Slug, Your Blue Room, Miss Sarajevo, Elvis Ate America and Let's Go Native.

I have it and they're probably the only songs that I really listen to...those and Beach Sequence

United Colours is an interesting tune - about a bullet train and a family of non fare-paying ghosts, if you read the booklet. As it says:

    "...remains without peer."

    I wonder why.
