  1. Last night i was listening to the SBD bootleg ZooTv from Sydney. The show which is released on vhs / dvd and also is in the Achtung Baby Remaster Box.
    I was wondering what the reason was why they didn´t include "Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World" on the dvd ?

    Note: It´s not the fanclub cd from a few years ago

  2. Most common suggestion is that the lucky young lady pulled up onstage that night was underage so letting her prance about with a bottle of champagne wasn't gonna make the cut. It's on YouTube at least.
  3. There is many reasons suggested to why it wasn't included on the DVD release:

    - Ned O' Hanlon stated that the DVD was too long and it needed cutting down a little.
    - Apparently Bono shared the bottle of champagne with an underage girl on stage during the song
    - The band apparently were unhappy with the performance

    It could be just one of them, two of them or all of them, we don't know. But it was certainly one of them.

    I've also heard that the girl saw the footage later on and refused to sign the release forms that would enable them to use her "performance" in the video.
  6. I got the Concert on silverdisc including TTTYAATW and Bono i singing very out of tune i guess that's also a reason the let it out ...

  8. just watched it on youtube......maybe its cuz she wasnt that good looking.....maybe bono was trying to get her hot friend on stage and she came up instead...
  9. But when you attend to a concert, you see the boards with information that U2 will film during the evening and that they can use it for everything they want? Not sure if that was already during zootv?

    It's not the fact that they might be using the images without permission or something; it's the fact that the girl might have been drinking while she was underage.
