Yeah true, I just hope he sounds decent on these shows... I'm kind of annoyed at the Stones seemingly ruining their own legacy imo
  2. They've been ruining it since they came up with whatever they did in 1980 did they not. I guess eventually you get the Mick-ificisms, which means that you end up over-producing recordings and overdoing it to the point of it just sounds sucky and nobody cares (cough **Goddess In The Doorway** cough).

Really, why can't they just get back in a small room with their four instruments, go analog and create a quality album that will get people back to realising why the Stones were the best at what they did, which was basic rock and roll. If the Stones get back on this train of the BR&R - it'll hopefully inspire someone, new or old, to get on the train and learn what's missing nowadays - rock and roll and simple blues sound. There just isn't enough anymore.

Everyone wants to get in synthesisers, drum machines, samples, Pro-Tools etc and over-do. Why not under-do it, under-produce and make it raw. As rock and roll is, and should be. AND NO GOD DAMN SHITTY BALLADS!!!!

  7. with all these awesome, lesser played songs + the warhorses the new shows are gonna have a lot of variety hopefully!
  8. Still can't believe they didn't at least rehearse something from A Bigger Bang. Not one song worthy of consideration - Back Of My Hand, Infamy, Rough Justice - the three best songs on it?

those 3 are the ones I would have thought would survive onto the next tour/shows... disappointing.
  10. No Start Me Up. A good thing.
  11. Assuming THEY still sound okay maybe they'll release some good bootlegs of these shows.
  12. Another new song!
