Either way, I don't expect the mixing to be any different from U22 since the tracks were essentially fully mixed when the voting took place...

It doesn't take much away from the song for me, it's just the thought that they've overdone the audience or that all the cheering is fake that gets to me. It is otherwise a fantastic experience

    Agreed.

Yeah that's exactly what my thoughts are.
  4. There's a new NYD video...Croke 2009.

  5. Kinda bummed that it's not from Montreal. I really love the revamped Edge solo. Fortunately, there are pretty high quality bootlegs from that gig, so unless the Dublin version is mixed to beyond perfection, I'll be sticking with Montreal.

Revamped solo? I prefer the term fucked-up. But them, guitarists don't make errors, they improvise.
  7. He played the first notes wrong and them covered it up with a few more wrong notes. It is ok to like them, but it proves once again that Edge can't do anything wrong.
  8. I like the Montreal solo much better than the original. If he screwed up, it certainly didn't sound like it. Definitely marked that as an improvement.
  9. They really know how to milk this thing...essentially revealing one track at a time AND one location at a time.
  10. The first batch start shipping soon don't they?
  11. Next month they said. They also said it would be arriving at doors in time for the holidays, so I'm going to start expecting my copy to arrive by early/mid December.

Especially since I renewed my subscription the moment I got the email about FTGU and the downloadable tracks.
