1. I still don't know why they altered the chords in the chorus. You can hear from Bono's singing that it doesn't feel right.

Those are the chords Edge played on the original version of the song (not the Orbit Mix we're used to hear), you can barely hear them but they are there. It didn't sound right 1) because the Orbit Mix has much different sonic textures, with the glockenspiel and the prominent synths and 2) because we're just not used to hear those chords so prominently.
  3. Ah, thanks for clearing up. Are they on the 'band version' that's on the B-sides of Best of 1990-2000? Will take a listen then.
  4. I assume it's safe to say that Electrical Storm IS on the new disc. The video for "Boots" states that it is from Edge's Picks.
  5. Just read the link a little more closely:

Listen to clips of Get On Your Boots, Electrical Storm and New Years Day on Edge's Picks below.

We haven't "discussed" the inclusion of NYD yet. This is the first I've heard of it being included. Also, I can only see preview links for "Boots."
  6. They put even more energy in mixing these songs than they did in Cedars Of Lebanon. (still can't believe that mistake on the album)

But's also really funny with Streets and COBL on U22. After a few seconds, that volume of the audience goes up so fast that it is unreal.
  7. It might be diificult, but once all of these tracks get their official release, I think I'd like to try to reorder them (with clean transitions) so they represent a flow that is more in line with the 360 shows.

Heck, maybe they can do that for us!
  8. Yeah that would be cool. A super long 360 show with ultimate performances and sound!

    What mistake?
  10. Agree. Cedars definitely defines the album for me.
