1. I don't doubt it - I just think these cases aren't as common as what I am contending. Admittedly, however, I'm speaking only from personal experience/observation. I have no formal data to support my claims.

  2. Instead, we rely on Bart to create lists that resemble formal data.
  3. 5. Oasis - Definitely Maybe
The 1994 debut album by the band of the Gallagher brothers. Their breakthrough album, according to the U2Start members the best album from the band. The album includes Live Forever, Supersonic and Cigarettes & Alcohol

    4. U2 - The Unforgettable Fire
The first U2 album which was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. This was the start of a long and succesfull collaboration. Most famous songs on the album: Pride, Bad and The Unforgettable Fire

    3. Radiohead - OK Computer
Widely considered as the best album by the band with frontman Thom Yorke. Try finding a weak song in this album, good luck with that!!

Well, I guess you guys know which 2 albums are on the first 2 places. But which one will be the winner???
  4. i would love Joshua but i bet on Achtung
  5. 2. U2 - The Joshua Tree
The masterwork from 1987 by the 4 Irish boys. The album depicts the band's love-hate relationship with the United States, with socially and politically conscious lyrics embellished with spiritual imagery. It has sold around 25 milion copies, that means its the most succesful U2 album. But our members have a different opinion about that

    1. U2 - Achtung Baby
Well the winner is......... ACHTUNG BABY!!!. U2 had to reinvent them selfs after the ''failure of Rattle And Hum, they changed their style. It got more darker. I don't think I have to say more about the album, you all know it good enough!!

Thanks to the ones who voted and discussed here :M Next year we will be back with the songs list. Hopefully with some more lists :P
  6. Great, thanks for all the hard work
  7. Great work Bart !!
  8. Thanks Bart

A worthy winner in the end. Was it close or a runaway success? I'm surprised the Radiohead ranked as high as third given the larger fanbase here of other bands.

Yeah, me too. I would have expected some Springsteen there.

The top ten until the first two were very close (I thought somewhere between 650 and 700 points) but JT and AB had around 900 points. That was pretty close.

I will give some statistics tomorrow, but like last year I did something wrong with the scores ...... I only got one Excel sheet now with the final list without anything

But the last 10 (100-90) didn't had many points (Some even lower than 100) . While the first 10 (10-1) were between 650 and 950 or something.

i'm not surprised about it even if i think it's a little bit too high for me .. it's nice though.
i'm "negatively surprised" about Oasis .. with all the appreciations for those 2 records, 8th and 5th??? in a ALL TIME list???
    come on guys
