  1. I'm still waiting for it to hit Australia.

    I heard COBL doesn't feature...that's a shame. I would have thought that would have made a brilliant visual, with all the lights and stuff.

  2. Just back and one word springs to mind..awesome!!!. The theatre was almost empty and the sound just perfect. I loved it. One gripe..it obviously wasn't the full concert.

    I think U2 rightly felt that an 'average' fan would not be interested in sitting for over 2 hours for a full concert where 1/2 hour would be full of songs they've never heard of (causal fan into Zoo Station.... )

    from Vertigo to Beautiful Day though? That was a huge cut I felt. Would have loved I Still Haven't Found with lovely crowd shots when they were singing at the end.

    IMAX? You'll love it. That's where I saw it. Hoping to go back but not sure how much longer it's on for. If you get a chance could you ask?!
  10. Went to the IMAX theatre to watch it last night, thought it was stunning, but felt it would have benefitted from a booming COBL and possibly until the end of the world as well.

    Sorry forgot to ask how long it will be on at the IMAX in Manchester but I am sure the Printworks website will give you more info
  11. Well, I just got my tickets for the premiere party in Holland in The Hague. Got a message that sitting IS NOT ALLOWED! Ha, this is gonna be so cool!

    Translated message from the U2 fanclub Holland:

    On the 20th you are expected around 8.45 PM, the red carpet will be there and the press will be there too and will make the waiting exciting. When we enter the cinema we go to a seperated room where we build up the tension with champagne and a DJ. Then U2 3D starts and sitting is not allowed! After the film the DJ will join us again and we'll party some more.

    crap can I come? Sounds awesome. I'd rather sit though. It's not a get up and jump kinda movie for the most part. I loved sitting and just taking it all in
